Welcome to BookTrendr. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of BookTrendr, including our website, research tools, credit system, monitoring features, reports, and related services.
By creating an account, purchasing credits, subscribing to a plan, or using BookTrendr, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
BookTrendr is a market research tool for authors, publishers, and self-publishers. It helps users analyze book niches, keywords, categories, competitor books, pricing, review data, bestseller rankings, and related publishing opportunities.
BookTrendr provides research support and data-based estimates. It does not guarantee book sales, rankings, income, publishing success, or marketplace approval.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your location, to use BookTrendr.
By using BookTrendr, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally able to enter into these Terms.
Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

BookTrendr uses credits for certain research actions and tools.
Credits may be included with a free plan, paid subscription, or purchased separately as credit packs. The number of credits required for each feature may vary and will be shown in the app or pricing page.
Credits are consumed when a feature is successfully started or completed, depending on the tool. Because many features rely on paid third-party data, live lookups, or AI processing, credits may not be refundable once used.
We may adjust credit pricing, feature costs, or plan allowances in the future. If we make material changes, we will update the pricing page or notify users where appropriate.
BookTrendr may offer paid subscription plans. Subscription plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date.
By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us or our payment processor to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
You can cancel your subscription through the billing or account settings area, where available. After cancellation, you will normally retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period.
We do not guarantee partial refunds for unused time in a billing period unless required by law or clearly stated in a separate refund policy.
Credit packs are one-time purchases that add credits to your account.

If a technical error causes credits to be charged without delivering a result, contact us with details so we can review and, where appropriate, restore the credits.
BookTrendr may offer monitoring features for books, authors, rankings, reviews, prices, or other market signals.
Monitoring data is directional and may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable due to changes in third-party data sources, marketplace behavior, rate limits, or technical issues.
If a monitoring add-on or subscription is cancelled, monitoring may stop immediately or at the end of the active period. Historical monitoring data may be retained for a limited time, such as 90 days, before deletion.

This information is provided for research and planning only. Some figures are estimates based on available data and internal models. They should not be treated as exact sales numbers, financial projections, or guaranteed outcomes.
Marketplace data can change quickly. BookTrendr does not guarantee that any displayed data is complete, current, or error-free.
Some BookTrendr features use AI to generate summaries, opportunity analysis, positioning ideas, book concepts, titles, launch suggestions, or other content.
AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive, or unsuitable for your specific use. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to use any AI-generated output.
BookTrendr does not claim ownership of your original inputs. To the extent permitted by law, you may use AI-generated outputs for your own publishing research and planning. However, you are responsible for ensuring that anything you publish complies with applicable laws, platform rules, copyright rules, and marketplace policies.
BookTrendr provides research tools and informational outputs. It does not provide legal, financial, tax, publishing, investment, or business advice.
You are solely responsible for your publishing decisions, including niche selection, manuscript creation, advertising, pricing, metadata, category choices, and compliance with Amazon KDP or any other platform.

BookTrendr may rely on third-party services for payments, authentication, data, AI processing, hosting, analytics-free infrastructure, email, or other functionality.
These third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party outages, pricing changes, data limitations, or policy changes.
BookTrendr is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon, Kindle Direct Publishing, Goodreads, or any other marketplace unless explicitly stated.
BookTrendr, including its design, code, branding, workflows, scoring systems, reports, and software, is owned by BookTrendr or its licensors.
You may not copy, clone, modify, sell, redistribute, or create a competing service from BookTrendr without written permission.
You retain responsibility for the content, keywords, topics, book titles, notes, or other materials you submit to the service.
BookTrendr may allow you to save research projects, monitored books, settings, alerts, and account preferences.
You are responsible for keeping your own important records. We do not guarantee permanent storage of all saved data.
We may delete inactive, expired, or cancelled account data according to our retention policy, privacy policy, or technical requirements.
You may request deletion of your account where this feature is available.
Account deletion may be scheduled with a delay, such as 30 days, to allow cancellation of accidental requests and to complete required billing, fraud prevention, legal, or security checks.
Once deletion is completed, your account data may not be recoverable.
Refunds are handled according to the refund rules shown on the pricing, billing, or support pages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
We do not guarantee that:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BookTrendr and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
This includes loss of profits, loss of sales, publishing losses, advertising losses, lost data, business interruption, or reliance on research outputs.
Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to BookTrendr in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or $100 if no payment was made.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we may notify users through the app, by email, or by updating the "Last updated" date.
Your continued use of BookTrendr after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, create risk for BookTrendr or other users, or fail to pay required fees.
You may stop using BookTrendr at any time. Cancellation or account deletion does not automatically entitle you to a refund unless stated in our refund policy or required by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia, without regard to conflict of law rules.
Any disputes will be handled in the courts of the Republic of Latvia, unless applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.
